The legal notice identifies the owner of the website (name, tax ID, address, contact) and sets the basic terms of use. In many countries, such as Spain, it is mandatory if the website has an economic activity. This screen creates it from a template.

Creating it

1. Fill in the owner details. Name and email are required. Registry details are only needed if you are a company registered in the commercial registry.
2. In What the website offers, describe your activity in one sentence, in each language.
3. Set Use to “Yes”, leave Page on “New” and click Save.

The owner details are shared with Privacy: if you fill them in here, they appear there automatically.

The additional text and the Regenerate button work as in Privacy.
